Time for real wine appreciation

January is a busy month in wine, with wine clubs and shops beginning their new-year courses and unveiling plans for wine travel in 2007. Mid-January also sees retailers begin their post-Christmas wine sales.

Wine drinkers have been busy too, with figures from Rehab Recycle for the festive season showing that 24 million bottles were recycled over Christmas. That is about 20 bottles per household.
