The Irish hedge funds industry is benefiting from a rebound in the sector, as institutional investors seek more aggressive returns within a tightly regulated service environment, according to consultants PwC.

As hedge fund assets under management return to their pre-crisis levels of more than $2 trillion, Irish servicers are capturing much of the business, capitalising on a trend in the industry towards greater due diligence and an emphasis on governance.
