More than half of Irish tourism businesses are reporting improved performance in 2011 and three in five expect their prospects to increase during 2012.

More than half of Irish tourism businesses are reporting improved performance in 2011 and three in five expect their prospects to increase during 2012.

Top-line results from the latest Failte Ireland Tourism Barometer, due to be published in the coming weeks, show that 54 per cent of businesses reported their performance was up while a further 21 per cent said that they were at least holding steady.
