Three funds circling huge property portfolio

Kennedy Wilson, Deutsche Bank and Oaktree Capital Management hoping to clinch €140m Venus portfolio.

A trio of international property giants are circling a massive portfolio of 1,000 properties being sold by Bank of Ireland for more than €140 million.

Kennedy Wilson, Deutsche Bank and Oaktree Capital Management are understood to be on the shortlist for Project Venus, a portfolio of 1,000 investment properties that the bank put up for sale in September. The sale will be the largest portfolio of residential properties ever in Ireland.
