A trio of international parties have emerged as the leading bidders for Nama's €810 million Project Aspen portfolio.

A trio of international parties have emerged as the leading bidders for Nama's €810 million Project Aspen portfolio, as the agency prepares to sell off €1 billion of non-performing loans.

US investor Starwood is working in partnership with Irish corporate finance firm Key Capital to acquire the portfolio, with reports from London indicating that Pimco, one of the world's biggest bond investors, and private investors Reuben Brothers, will prove to be Starwood's biggest competitors.
