Thousands of Irish retirees with foreign pensions are not making returns to the Revenue Commissioners, The Sunday Business Post has learned.
Thousands of Irish retirees with foreign pensions are not making returns to the Revenue Commissioners, The Sunday Business Post has learned.
Only 21,535 pensioners declared earnings from foreign state welfare pensions and other foreign pensions to Revenue in 2009.
Yet, in the same year, more than 112,000 Irish residents received UK pensions, and a further 10,000 Irish residents were paid US pensions.
