Thousands expected at Festival of Speed

Next weekend, the Irish Festival of Speed will take place at the Greenmount Racecourse in Limerick.

Stunt rider Mattie Griffin will be performing at the Irish Festival of Speed in Limerick next weekend.

Next weekend, the Irish Festival of Speed will take place at the Greenmount Racecourse in Limerick.

The organisers are estimating a €6 million economic boost to the region based on predicted attendance of 16,000 visitors on each of the two days.

The inaugural Festival took place in 2011 at Adare Manor, with an estimated €3 million injected into the local economy.
