Think big and plan for success
With the right planning, there's no reason why some companies can't compete on a larger scale, writes Elaine O'Regan.
Thinking big may seem like a bad idea when you're trying to find your feet in business, but start-ups that fail to scale are just as likely to falter as those that move too fast.
This is according to Kieran Moynihan, entrepreneur-in-residence at Cork Institute of Technology.
With a stellar record in global telecommunications, Moynihan believes that Ireland's first-time entrepreneurs can thrive on the world stage with the right support and advice.
