Dublin Fringe Festival


Under the directorship of Róise Goan, the city itself became central to the Dublin Fringe Festival. From site-specific work that took the theatre onto the street, to projects that dramatised the history of the city and her people, to work that sought to inspire its contemporary citizens, the Dublin Fringe Festival offered theatre as a tool for political and social agitation, as well as entertainment.
