The Dublin Theatre Festival organisers hope to attract ten companies to sponsor the festival's upcoming 50th anniversary celebrations, writes Fiona Ness.

They have launched the Power of Ten initiative to convince the companies to commit €10,000 every year in the run up to the anniversary year in 2007. Don Shipley, the director of the festival, said he hoped to find “ten powerful partners'‘ for the event.
