Theatre: Best Man is a mixed bag
Best Man by Carmel Winters. Project Arts Centre, Dublin. Until July 27. Rating: 3/5. Reviewed by Sara Keating.
Carmel Winters' new play, Best Man, is determined to subvert cliché. It offers a resolutely contemporary setting, a suburban mansion inhabited by cocky estate agent Kay (Derbhle Crotty), her stay-at-home husband Alan (Peter Gowen), their two young children and their exotic Bolivian nanny (Kate Stanley Brennan).
