The reaction of many people when they heard of another review mission to Ireland by the EU and IMF last week was that they believed that such monitoring was all behind us. Of course it is not. Missions will be coming here for years to come, based on the fact that we have rather a lot of money to repay to the EU and IMF over a long period of years.
