Last weekend, The Sunday Business Post ran a letter signed by seven past presidents of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, outlining their concerns about pending regulations. Here, Minister for the Environment Phil Hogan responds.
Earlier this year, I moved decisively to ensure that competence and professionalism would become part and parcel of building projects, leading to a new era of quality in construction.
