What’s in a name? Quite a lot, apparently. Newcastle United fans were left up in arms last week as owner Mike Ashley announced a new stadium sponsorship deal. Although the deal could produce quite a bit of revenue for the Championship club– about stg£5 million (€5.5 million) per season, which is vital if they are to return to the Premiership – fans are outraged at the new name.
