Aviva insurance company was the best fit as sponsor to a venue that has already exceeded expectations, says strategic marketing director Paul Kelly. Catherine O’Mahony reports

A dusty building site until shortly before its official opening last Friday, the Aviva Stadium has still been averaging 50 mentions a week in mainstream media in the past months, according to Aviva’s group strategic marketing director, Paul Kelly.

‘‘And that’s a pretty conservative estimate,” he said.
