Last Sunday saw Cork claim a 10th Ladies Football All-Ireland title in 11 years.

That’s elite level dominance which few teams in any sport on this island can hold a candle to.

Over in the Netherlands, around the same time Cork claimed their crown, the one side with a record that holds up well against the Leesiders was claiming another championship.
