The Medtech Sector: Medtech makes for healty careers
Survey shows large numbers of major companies are in the market for people with specific skills.
Despite the level of unemployment and the number of potential candidates available, companies in Ireland’s medtech sector are still finding it difficult to source suitably qualified candidates, according to Dr Sinéad Keogh, director of the Irish Medical Devices Association (IMDA), the Ibec sector that represents the medical technology sector.
Every two years, the IMDA conducts a survey to assess current and future skills needs across the medtech sector.
