Implementing apprenticeships as part of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme can yield long-term value for both participating companies and the apprentices involved.

Last year, Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics based in Swords, Co Dublin introduced an apprenticeship programme adapted from best practice traineeships developed at its facilities in Britain and Germany.
