In this issue we look at the introduction of iXBRL', which is now live for all of Revenue's corporate taxpayers dealt with by the Large Cases Division and will soon be mandatory for almost all other corporate taxpayers.

XBRL [eXtensible Business Reporting Language] is a language that allows the presentation of financial information in a computer readable format. It is a reporting format that assigns an electronically readable tag to individual items within business reports.
