Irish top for mobile internet

The rate of mobile internet use in Ireland is 11 per cent higher than the EU average, according to the 2012 Mediascope study by the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

Thirty-two per cent of Irish internet users go online using a mobile, compared to an EU average of 21 per cent and 80 per cent (2.9 million) of all Irish people are online, compared to the EU average of 65 per cent.
