Moloney’s potential masterstroke on Glanbia sale
Praise will be due to John Moloney, chief executive of Glanbia, if he manages to sell the group’s Irish assets to its farming coop in a €340 million deal.
It would be a masterstroke for the publicly quoted company to get such a great price, offload its Irish business, focus on international growth and reduce the coop’s stake in his company from over 50 per cent to around 20 per cent.
