Lenihan can talk, but will he act?

Brian Lenihan, the Minister for Finance, was talking tough last week about the need to restrict so called ‘crony’ directorship practices. It now seems that what happened at Anglo Irish Bank must become the model for what not to do at a publicly quoted company in general and a bank in particular.

Ironically, every element of ‘cronyism’ at Anglo was already in the public domain.
