The Revenue Commissioners' investigation into single-premium insurance products bought over the past 24 years to avoid paying tax is expected to begin early next year.

“We expect the Revenue guidelines next January or February,” said Brian Walsh, tax director with Mazars.

Walsh specialises in Revenue audits, investigations and settlement negotiations.
