The funding crisis in the Fair Deal scheme will make headlines again this week, with the Minister for Health, James Reilly, due to comment on findings of a review into the troubled system of elder care.
More than 4,600 elderly people have been left in limbo since it emerged last month that there is not enough money to allow any new applicants for funding into the scheme.
