As vendors face an uphill struggle to shift their properties, estate agents are threatening to up their fee commission.

However, elsewhere in the market, investors do not seem to be benefiting from higher rents. Despite a buoyant rental market, there is little sign of letting agents reducing the fees charged to landlords.
