Michael O’Leary‘s battle of Hangar 6 probably generated a lot more heat than light on the subject of what Ryanair was actually looking for from IDA Ireland, the government and the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA).

For O’Leary, the situation is quite clear. He wanted to base a 500-staff aircraft maintenance operation in Hangar 6 at Dublin Airport when it became available last summer.
