The second major report into historical abuse cases involving children in Catholic Church and state care is due to be published by Dermot Ahern, the Minister for Justice in the next few days.

The long-awaited report into clerical abuse in the Dublin archdiocese is expected to highlight the concealment of widespread sexual abuse in some of the capital’s poorest communities.
