Terms of AIB redundancy packages may be similar to those at Anglo

The 2,500 employees to be made redundant at AIB may be given the same terms as those offered to former Anglo workers last December, of four weeks' pay per year of service.

The 2,500 employees to be made redundant at AIB may be given the same terms as those offered to former Anglo Irish Bank workers last December, of four weeks' pay per year of service.

While the bank's management has not confirmed what the terms of the redundancy deal on offer will be, it was speculated last week that they would be the same as those offered to HSE workers in 2010 - three weeks' pay per...
