More than ten consortiums have submitted bids to buy Mount Carmel maternity hospital in Dublin.

More than ten consortiums have submitted bids to buy Mount Carmel maternity hospital in Dublin.

The Bon Secours hospital chain and the Beacon Medical Group, which developed the Beacon hospital in Sandyford in Dublin, confirmed that they had tendered for the 140-bed hospital.

Harlequin Healthcare, which operates hospitals in Sligo and Kilkenny, and the consortium behind the Mater Private in Dublin, have also submitted tenders.
