The Temple Bar Christmas fete is on this weekend on Essex Street West beside Cow’s Lane.

Stallholders from Morocco, Peru, Brazil and China are at the market selling traditional crafts, gifts, clothing, jewellery and food. There will be an ethical and fairtrade Green Santa and performers from Burundi. To coincide with the fete, Amnesty International has unveiled a 300-year-old peace tree donated to the group by Yoko Ono.
