Tegral to add 30 jobs in Athy plant investment

The investment follows a successful tender to supply fibre cement roof slates for the British market.

Slate and metal products maker Tegral is investing €7.3 million in its manufacturing plant in Athy, Co Kildare, resulting in the creation of 30 new jobs.

Of the total, €2.1 million will be spent immediately on new machinery, while the remaining €5.2 million will be invested in upgrading existing machinery and improvements in infrastructure over the next three years.
