John Teeling's Botswana Diamonds has struck up a joint venture partnership with one of the world's largest diamond miners, the Russian state-owned Al Rosa.

The Clontarf registered company, which counts amongst its shareholders former minister of state Willie O'Dea, has submitted prospecting licence applications for a $1 million, 40-hole drill programme in the Orapa region of the Kalahari desert.
