John Teeling's Connemara Mining has been forced to dilute its shareholding in the Stone Park zinc find in Limerick after its multinational partner decided to push ahead with exploration which the Irish junior could not afford.

Taking part in the new exploration with Canadian giant Teck would have cost Connemara €125,000.

"We decided not to put that money up so we are taking dilution instead, from 25 per cent to 23.24 per cent," said Connemara chairman Teeling.
