Cork city is to be one of the first places in Ireland to hold a Gathering event when the national initiative begins in 2013.

A Cork consortium will host the fifth annual Irish Technology Leadership Group (ITLG) 'Silicon Valley Comes to Ireland' event on January 21 and 22 next year.
