Version 1 wins ferry deal

Dublin-based software company Version 1 has announced a three-year deal with ferry company Irish Continental Group (ICG). The contract, which has been valued at €200,000, will see Version 1 provide Oracle support and consulting services to ICG. The deal will cover 24-hour support and maintenance of Oracle’s Real Application Clusters, which will be used to support ICG’s main passenger-booking engine.
