StatCounter launches web tool for market share battles

Website traffic monitoring firm StatCounter has launched a new online research tool to help monitor internet market share battles. The new Global Stats service is a free online device designed to help journalists, analysts, bloggers and researchers. It records the market share of search engines, browsers and operating systems. The analysis is based on four billion page loads per month.
