The commercial property market had another busy year in 2018. Two of the best-performing sectors were offices and investment, which is what I will focus on here.
The Dublin office sector is on target for another exceptional year. If certain deals close in the final weeks of December, we estimate that activity will reach 325,000 square metres. This is slightly down on 2017 (342,600 sqm), but well ahead of the long-term 15-year average at 206,000 square metres.
