Tech sector investments buck the trend

Venture capital investors are still making money in technology firms, writes Dick O’Brien

While many businesses are still struggling with the difficult economic conditions, the technology sector has bucked the trend.

Having learned the lessons of debt-fuelled expansion a decade ago, and with a focus on exports rather than the domestic market, Irish technology firms are continuing to grow and create new jobs.
