Tech professionals more attracted to SMEs and startups than multinationals - survey

The amount of choice available to developers in particular seemed to be a factor in the preference for startups

Over 45 per cent of IT professionals would prefer to work for an SME or startup company compared to just 15 per cent who want to work for an established multinational, according to a new survey by Brightwater Recruitment.

Interestingly, the results are the opposite of the outcome of a similar survey carried out last year which showed 35 per cent would choose to move to a multinational.
