AEP Networks, a high-tech firm backed by Michael Smurfit and other well-known investor s, has completed the acquisition of a British company, writes Gavin Daly.

The e-security provider has bought Vados Systems, an Ascot-based company, in a deal it said would strengthen its business in Europe and Asia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
