TCD could get name change

Ireland's oldest university, Trinity College Dublin, is to undergo a brand change which could result in a new logo and name change.

Ireland's oldest university, Trinity College Dublin, is to undergo a brand change which could result in a new logo and name change. The changes are expected to be introduced before the launch next year of its new strategic plan, which will cover the years 2014 to 2019.

The university's Provost, Patrick Prendergast, told The Sunday Business Post that while Trinity had a strong brand, reputation and identity, it was ''not a global brand''.
