I am 65 years of age this year and my SSIA is about to mature. Dilemma:

I am 65 years of age this year and my SSIA is about to mature. It is worth about €20,000, which I plan to leave on deposit paying an interest rate of 3 per cent. I also have a contributory state pension and a private pension worth €150 per week. I have been told that I am exempt from Dirt on any interest my SSIA proceeds pay from a deposit account.
