Taoiseach Enda Kenny told the Minister for Education Ruairi Quinn to reverse the cuts to special education and to find the money from his own budget, *The Sunday Business Post* has learned.

Informed sources said a direct instruction came from Kenny at a sub-committee meeting last Monday. Quinn was told by Kenny to "fix it" and a U-turn was announced the next day.
