Taoiseach to host Japanese prime minister today

Taoiseach Enda Kenny will today meet with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzō Abe.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny will today meet with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe.

Prime Minister Abe is visiting Ireland following his participation in the G8 Summit in Lough Erne on Monday and Tuesday. The Taoiseach and the Prime Minister will hold talks at Government Buildings.

The leaders are expected to discuss bilateral economic, trade and cultural relations between Ireland and Japan, as well as broader economic issues, according to a government statement.
