Taoiseach tells CNBC: Irish debt level "unfair"

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said the level of debt imposed on the Irish people was "unfair" and called for the agreement that will break the link between bank and sovereign debt to be implemented.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said the level of debt imposed on the Irish people was "unfair" and called for the agreement that will break the link between bank and sovereign debt to be implemented.

Interviewed on CNBC News, Kenny said there was a "lull in the consternation that overtook Europe" in recent years at present, but said there was "no room for complacency".
