Taoiseach says Hollande will not interfere with referendum

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has told the Dáil that French-president elect Francois Hollande has no intention of interfering in the May 31st referendum vote on Europe’s fiscal treaty.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has told the Dáil that French president elect Francois Hollande has no intention of interfering in the May 31st referendum vote on Europe’s fiscal treaty.

He told the Dáil that Hollande “fully respects” the Irish situation. He said the pair had a “good conversation” today and he welcomed Hollande’s focus on growth....
