Taoiseach hopeful of "early resolution" on bailout

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has told the Seanad that he is hopeful of an “early resolution” on Ireland’s bank bailout burden which would significantly boost the chances of recovery.

“Frankly, the approach to date at European level has been too passive," said Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
