A full tally of boxes indicates that Fine Gael's Helen McEntee is set to win the Meath East by-election.

A full tally of boxes indicates that Fine Gael's Helen McEntee is set to win the Meath East by-election.

The tally shows McEntee with 38.4 per cent of the vote with Fianna Fáil's Thomas Byrne tallying 33.4 per cent and Labour's Eoin Holmes at 3.9 per cent, according to RTE reports.

Sinn Féin's Darren O'Rourke is on 12.9 per cent while Ben Gilroy of Direct Democracy Ireland is tallying at 6.5 per cent.
