Even at the pinnacle of success, we all still have that little pang of fear that it might just go wrong. In some respects, fear of failure is no bad thing for start-ups. Indeed, I would argue that the fear factor can help you to stay sharp.

More damaging for entrepreneurs, however, is the drip-feed of figures and stats, new taxation and other incremental economic changes in the SME economy.
