June may be the month when many vegetables and herbs thrive, but it is also when weeds and pests launch their attack, writes Dermot Carey.
We are fast approaching the mid-summer June 21 peak growth mark, and while last week's weather was far from ideal, the warm spell we experienced before that meant that the walled garden in Harry's really blossomed. Our vegetables and herbs are thriving, and a fantastic harvest has just been sent to the kitchen team.
